An oldie but a goodie: Miranda Lambert- Dead Flowers

I've gotta hand it to the new 28-year old Miranda Lambert for the fantastic music video "Dead Flowers" from her highly successful album Revolution. Now known as Mrs. Shelton, this talented country music artist was recently rewarded for her work once again this past week as she walked away from the Country Music Awards with the award for Female Vocalist of the Year. At the 2010 CMA's she took home 3 awards and did not expect to take home the same award this year.

I recently have a new found respect for this artist and I really enjoy her music. A few days ago I caved and purchased a copy of her Revolution album on iTunes, and I have to admit that I am obsessed with this album! I then decided that I had to watch the video because it is one of my favourite songs on the album. Surprise, surprise I love the video as much as I love the song! This track is so emotionally revealing and I think that is one of the reasons why it was such a huge hit. Looking back now I realize why she was given some of the highest awards in her genre. This girl knows what she is doing and she sounds great! Miranda Lambert is such a real artist and that definitely works in her favour.

If you haven't already seen the music video for "Dead Flowers" I highly recommend the video and the song. Enjoy everyone!!
